#1 - We head for the border! Expert guides lead you through this very simple process. Be sure to bring your vaccination card and your passport and welcome to Nicaragua!

#2 - We get a local breakfast right next to beautiful Lake Nicaragua.

#3 - We enjoy shopping and learning some history at the Lookout Point of Catarina, an inactive volcano and crater lagoon.

#4 - We go from an inactive volcano to a very active one! Masaya Volcano is an awesome example of the amazing forces of nature

#5 - Lunch in a authentic Nicaraguan restaurant

#6 - We explore the landmarks of Granada, including ancient churches, architecture from the 1500s, and some historic local industry.

#7 - Time for a boat ride! Cruise Lake Nicaragua and experience the unique culture and wildlife of this one-of-a-kind cultural landmark

#8 - Back to the border! Now that you know your way around you can appreciate the many modes of transportation on the roads. Maybe an ox cart?

#9 - Welcome back to Costa Rica!
